Storm Team Moody Travels to Pennsylvania for Flood Relief
During the first week of August, a tropical storm rolled through the east coast that caused an enormous amount of rains in many states. SERVPRO franchises across the nation were stationed in Virginia and Pennsylvania where the damage was overwhelming.
Specifically where SERVPRO of Warren County was stationed in the suburbs of Philadelphia, they were hit with over 8 inches of rain in 3 hours! The result of that was sump pump and drain failures in basements and the first floors of homes. The sewage systems cannot keep up with the amount of water coming in, so it gathers back into basements causing a flood. The majority of scopes of works for each customer was to remove flooring and drywall that sat in the contaminated water, set our industrial drying equipment for 4 days, and disinfect the rooms for any bacteria that came in with the flooding.
SERVPRO of Warren County and the members of Storm Team Moody are grateful that we are trusted to travel and help so many families during a devastating time. We take pride in being the ones called to serve. Check out or Facebook page for more details and pictures!
